I head out on a micro adventure. The median of an interchange of two major freeways, on a river, under the approach of an international airport. I kayak to the median of two merging (and busy) interstates in a suburb.

Then, we set up camp, make a meal and spend the night.

Micro Adventures are a gem for those of us that are pressed for time, busy or simply don’t have the money for grand, international travel.
